Topic:
Spine and Leaf (CLOS) is starting to be used more in the Data Center space as opposed to hierarchical tree (3-tier).  This network is advantaged in the ability to scale out the network using smaller switch radix.  With the addition of some breakout technology in the optics we can show how to scale the network at 4x using the same switch radix and optics.  This discussion focus is about Corning’s mesh module which allows this capability.

Speaker:
Angela Lambert, RCDD
