West Michigan Cisco Users Group: Technology-Specific Special Interest Groups

This year the West Michigan Cisco Users Group is starting a new program. We will be piloting technology-specific Special Interest Groups. The goal of these SIGs is to focus in on a particular technology and allow members to have much more deep-dive discussions around that given technology. These groups will be smaller, more intimate; and will allow for more ongoing information sharing, relationship building, and technology focused discussion. The idea is that folks joining these groups will be users that have experience with the given technology and are willing to share experiences, questions, comments, etc to help out other group members. We are hoping to help answer the question that many technology users have; "We can't be the only ones having this problem. I wonder what other local companies or users are doing or experiencing." From a logistical standpoint; users can request to join the group simply by emailing the group leader (see below). Each member will be added to the email group and will be invited to the monthly roundtable event where SIG members can come to discuss the technology; share war stories, and build relationships. The email group will allow users to effectively communicate between events; and will create a "sounding board" to let members throw out ideas; questions, problems, etc to the group to solicit feedback. Again; due to the nature of these groups; we are asking that only folks that have experience with; or a very strong desire to learn more about the given technology and are willing to fully participate and share sign up for the group.

We will be piloting 2 SIGs initially; and based on interest and feedback; may expand to other technologies. The first two SIGs are below along with the email of the SIG leader. If you are interested in signing up for the SIG; please contact the SIG leader directly.

Cisco Contact Centers

The goal of this group is to focus on Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) and Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX). If you are currently using this technology; plan to use this technology; or wish to engage in dialog regarding this technology; please contact Rion Hollenbeck to sign up for this SIG. Please note; this SIG is not designed to be an education on UCCE/UCCX, rather an open dialog between users / experts in the technology.
