- The underlying fundamentals of wireless physics (since this is where most wireless issues originate).

- The most common causes of WiFi issues.

- How 802.11n & 802.11ac can solve these problems (if configured correctly).

- A quick overview of WPA/WPA2 and 802.11x (and how to break them)

- How hackers use wireless networks as a platform for furthering attacks.

- The future of wireless security (if time allows).

James graduated from Davenport University with dual Bachelor Degree Majors in Network Engineering and Network Security. He also taught advanced Network Security & Wireless Security courses at DU for 3 years. He is regular speaker on the topic of Technology, Network Security, and Business Innovation.

James was a co-founder and past-President of the WMCUG (West Michigan Cisco Users Group), was recently the past-President of the GR-ISSA (Information Systems Security Association), currently serves on the aimWest Board as Vice-President and Chair of Technology, and is also the Director of Technology for the board of the NPFWM (National Parkinson Foundation of West Michigan).
