Bandwidth isn't FREE! What, do you think data moves from one end of the globe to the other on the backs of magical ferries? No. It does not. Network engineers work hard to find the best way to move the most data efficiently and cost effectively in the limited resource we call bandwidth.

At this month's event, we will discuss techniques and technologies WAN engineers to make sure the packets get to their destination. Our speakers will share their experiences running state and worldwide networks, and let you in on some of the secret Mojo they use, including

  • IP SLA, or My packet is more important than your packet
  • Multihomed BGP, or everything's better if we just hold hands and hope for the best
  • SD-WAN, or everything's better when robots do it.
